What is the display for my home theater? Many homeowners are struggling with electronic problems. This will make clear some important considerations. Ambient lighting is the most important detail to consider when you decide to choose between a projector and a plasma television. Every little bit of ambient lighting degrades the projected image; this make a room with lots of windows presents a problem for a projector. The room where you have total control over the lighting is the ideal environment for a projector. You are limited to using projector in your home theater when you eliminate other light. In the other hand, a plasma television can be used in anyplace, anytime. Assume that your home theater has blackout curtains, or established in deep underground. There are two differences between a projector and a plasma television. One is a projector give you a much larger picture than is available in plasma. Projectors can produce images comparable to an 81-inches screen and larger which is not possible with a plasma screen. However, a projector must have a long enough corridor to project its image on the wall or screen unlike plasma which no needs a lot of space. You need a proper distance between the projector and the target to get an 81-inches or grater image. Second, you must be projecting onto a specialized surface or you lose detail because a projector’s image is dependent on more than the quality of the projector. If you were just projecting the image onto a wall, a top of the line HD projector with a very high native resolution would be wasted. You need an equality high quality screen with features like a matte finish to eliminate reflection and glare. A plasma display needs no additional equipment. Overall, a projector needs too much to work effectively to create a beautiful image. If you prefer to create a private movie theater with lighting control, and you invest in a mounting equipment, screen, and blackout curtains, your piece of equipment is a projector. However, for everyone else, a plasma television is recommended.
